Faraj is a big, strong-looking horse with an incredibly kind and gentle character. He has been with us since he was only two years old and has been given plenty of time to mature and develop at his own pace. He was quietly started under saddle at four and gelded at six, after which he really began to find himself.
Despite his size and powerful appearance, Faraj is a lovely horse to ride. He is nicely forward-going, yet usually very relaxed and easy to ride. He will never take off with you. He is not always the bravest in new situations, but with trust and patience, he steadily gains confidence.
And when he is not being ridden, Faraj is a real cuddle bug. He would happily climb right into your pocket to be close to you – sometimes a little too enthusiastically and rather clumsily! His gentle nature, comfortable gaits and lovely attitude make him a very special horse to work with and spend time with.
